What are 'gross motor skills'?
Gross motor skills are those that relate to the movement of the child -
ability to co-ordinate walking and the movement of the hands.
In each of the pages below are found details of expected child development,
possible areas for concern that may indicate that the child is not developing
their gross motor skills appropriately and possible remediation programmes
suitable for parents and other adults interacting with preschool children.
