How child play can assist in development

Child Play through Mentis-XLWhen you see your child play, as well as enjoying themselves, they are learning how to interact with other children or the environment. Child play in the Early Years Foundation Stage eyfs) is an essential part of growing up.

At Mentis-XL we believe that child play can be directed towards providing a stimulating and rewarding educational experience for pre school children.

We have produced a  programme to let your child play with you and at the same time develop many skills that they will need in later life.

Our programme is not based on reading, writing or arithmetic. Instead a structured series of activities has been developed to encourage movement skills, thinking skills, social skills in pre school children aged three to five.

The programme has been designed by an experienced Educational Psychologist with more than 20 years experience in the 'Early Years'.

On our website is information relating to this programme and a sample video showing the type of exercises we are trying to encourage parents to try.
